Maho is joining the team starting Sept 1. She will be working wednesdays and weekends. She’s a Registered Massage Therapist who also specializes in Thai and Shiatsu massage. To book with Maho you can find her name under the massage tab :)

NEW: Acupuncture/Massage Therapy Combination treatments now available. Please book this if you’d like a mix of both modalities. Description on booking site and available in 60 minute and 90 minute treatments. Must already be an acupuncture patient. Billing to insurance companies will be divided based on modality time. For example 60 minutes will be billed as 30 minute massage and 30 minute Acupuncture etc.

Massage therapy prices shown don’t include GST and will be added at billing. Acupuncture is deemed medical and is exempt from gst, prices shown will be the same at billing.

NO SHOWS/LATE CANCELLATIONS: Please note any treatment canceled under 24 hours or no shows will be charged 100% of the treatment fee. I understand unforeseen circumstances may occur but these times are saved for you and when you don’t show up or cancel last minute I can’t fill that spot. Thank you for your understanding.

Maho grew up in Tokyo Japan where she attended the Kuretake College of Medical Arts & Science and graduated from the Oriental Medicine Program. She practiced massage therapy & acupuncture in Tokyo before moving to the Bow Valley in 2010. Maho joined the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada as a RMT in 2011. Maho has always loved alternative medicine and sharing the healing process with her clients, impressed with how it helps to balance both body and mind. She has been also working in resort spa settings, allowing her to pamper guests with deep relaxation and well-being. She is looking forward to offering more treatments to both Bow Valley community residents and transient outdoor enthusiasts.

Her treatment can be combined with Swedish massage, acupressure point therapy, therapeutic cupping, joint mobilizations and stretching technique.

Amanda has practiced in alternative health care for over 18 years. She attended Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton for both Massage and Acupuncture. Amanda moved to the Bow Valley in 2017 and has loved getting to know the people in this wonderful community. She is certified in Clean Needle Technique and is an active member with The College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA) and Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). Amanda is well versed in finding balance through natural medicine and aspires to use these tools as a conduit for others. We all have a unique and personal healing journey and she’d be humbled to share that journey with each of her patients.
